Meet Chris Hodges
Chris Hodges is fueled by a deep dedication to serving others, a commitment that extends to both the residents of Brown County and the dedicated professionals within the Sheriff's Office. With a wealth of experience, extensive training, and exceptional skills, he is the ideal candidate for the role of Brown County Sheriff. His skills, experience and training include:
- 10 years of dedicated road patrol service
- Promoted to Road Patrol Sergeant, demonstrating strong leadership for over 6 years
- Currently serving as Chief Deputy at the Sheriff's Office, responsible for operational supervision and reporting directly to the Sheriff
- Graduate of Northwestern University's Center for Public Safety School of Police Staff and Command in 2016
- Successful completion of the Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE) program offered by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Law Enforcement Foundation between 2019 and 2021
- Graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy for law enforcement executives in 2022
